This Privacy Policy explains how the “TikTok Subtitle Translator” browser extension (the “Extension”) collects, uses, and shares information. By using the Extension you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

2. About video identifiers and viewing history

We store TikTok video IDs only as part of an anonymous translation cache, which is not linked to your account or identity. We do not use them to build a personal viewing-history profile.
Apart from subtitle text sent for translation, we read a video's transcript, public comments, and public metrics only when you click the corresponding button. That data is copied to your local clipboard or sent to an AI service you choose — the content itself is not sent to or stored on our servers. We do not collect browsing history or keystrokes.
While you are signed in, we do record that you used a feature (feature name and timestamp, plus the small amount of context listed in the table above) against your account, so that we can see which features matter. These records never contain the transcript, comment text, metric values, video IDs, URLs, or creator handles involved, and they are not used to build a viewing-history profile.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

3. Third-party processors

Supabase — authentication and token issuance.
Google (Gemini API) — performs the translation of subtitle text (text is sent by our server, not directly by the Extension).
AI services you choose (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI ChatGPT, Google Gemini) — only when you click "AI analysis," the selected video's transcript / comments / metrics are opened in a new tab on that service. Your account data is never sent. The content is then subject to that provider's own privacy policy.

These providers process data only to deliver the features above.

4. Data storage and retention

Authentication tokens are stored only in your browser’s local storage and are removed when you log out. Access tokens expire automatically (about 1 hour).
Server-side usage records and feature usage records are retained for 24 months, after which they are deleted or anonymized.
Cached subtitle text, translations, and associated video IDs are stored in an anonymous cache (not linked to accounts) and retained for up to 24 months, after which they are deleted.

5. Your choices

You can log out at any time from the Extension popup, which clears your tokens from local storage.
You can remove the Extension to stop all data collection.
To request deletion of server-side records associated with your account, contact us at dev@allsale.ai.

6. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.

2. 영상 식별자와 시청 기록에 대하여

TikTok 영상 ID는 익명 번역 캐시의 일부로만 저장되며, 계정·신원과 연결되지 않습니다. 이를 개인 시청 기록 프로필 생성에 사용하지 않습니다.
번역용 자막 텍스트 외에, 영상의 대본·공개 댓글·공개 지표는 해당 버튼을 누를 때만 읽습니다. 이 데이터는 로컬 클립보드로 복사되거나 사용자가 고른 AI 서비스로 전달될 뿐, 내용 자체는 당사 서버로 전송·저장하지 않습니다. 브라우징 기록·입력 내용은 수집하지 않습니다.
다만 로그인한 상태에서는 어떤 기능을 사용했다는 사실(기능 이름·시각과 위 표에 적힌 최소한의 부가 정보)이 계정과 함께 기록됩니다. 이 기록에는 대본·댓글 내용·지표 값·영상 ID·URL·크리에이터 핸들이 일절 포함되지 않으며, 시청 기록 프로필 생성에 사용하지 않습니다.
개인정보를 제3자에게 판매하거나 대여하지 않습니다.

3. 제3자 처리

Supabase — 인증 및 토큰 발급.
Google(Gemini API) — 자막 텍스트 번역 수행(확장이 직접 보내지 않고 당사 서버를 경유).
사용자가 선택한 AI 서비스(Anthropic Claude, OpenAI ChatGPT, Google Gemini) — "AI 분석"을 누를 때만, 선택한 영상의 대본·댓글·지표가 해당 서비스의 새 탭으로 전달됩니다. 계정 정보는 전송하지 않으며, 이후 해당 제공자의 개인정보 정책을 따릅니다.

위 처리자는 상기 기능 제공 목적으로만 데이터를 처리합니다.

4. 저장 및 보관 기간

인증 토큰은 브라우저 로컬에만 저장되며 로그아웃 시 삭제됩니다. access token은 약 1시간 후 자동 만료됩니다.
서버의 사용량 기록과 기능 사용 기록은 24개월 보관 후 삭제 또는 익명화합니다.
캐시된 자막 원문·번역문 및 연관 영상 ID는 익명 캐시(계정 비연결)에 저장되며 최대 24개월 보관 후 삭제됩니다.

5. 이용자의 선택권

확장 popup에서 언제든 로그아웃할 수 있으며, 로그아웃 시 로컬 토큰이 삭제됩니다.
확장을 제거하면 모든 데이터 수집이 중단됩니다.
계정과 연결된 서버 기록의 삭제를 원하시면 dev@allsale.ai로 요청해 주세요.

6. 변경

본 방침은 변경될 수 있으며, 중요한 변경은 상단 발효일 갱신으로 반영합니다.
